BIO
Ryan Patrick Carasco is a contemporary Filipino-Canadian writer and poet. Born in the seaside city of Iloilo in the Philippines, he now resides in Northwestern Ontario, Canada, where he works as a pharmacist for a chain drug store.
He is the author of the poetry collections A Soliloquy of Intent and The Monsoon Brew. The Shut-Eye Dance is his third published book and his debut novel, marking a new chapter in his literary journey.
Outside of writing, Ryan enjoys entertaining friends and family, traveling to new destinations, exploring diverse cultures, and learning more about the rich heritage of his adoptive country of Canada. He also spends much of his spare time taking long walks with his rambunctious Cockapoo, Chance, who is often an enthusiastic companion on his daily adventures. Meanwhile, Millie, the cat, is his source of infinite amount of amusement and mischief.
